Mediation consists of appointing an independent mediator (like a ‘middle man’) to help resolve any disagreements without resorting to legal action. Their role is to help you identify and solve your issues through face-to-face discussions in a neutral environment.
After a few meetings (the amount varies), when both parties have reached an agreement, the mediator will draw up a formal agreement to resolve the issue and perhaps stop it happening again.
Because the mediation process is mainly about discussion, we recommend getting in touch with us as soon as possible to help solve your issues in a reasonable and effective manner. As a non-profit organisation, we can offer competitive rates to suit your financial situation, and accommodate legal aid funds as well.
